LA-based director of photography, Lidia works on narrative, documentary and commercial projects. Prior to working in film she was a photojournalist - her work has been published in newspapers around the world including The Daily Telegraph, The Age, Australian Financial Review, The Sydney Morning Herald and many others. She believes that thoughtfulness, authenticity and honesty are crucial to storytelling.
Her work played at numerous festivals including New York Film Festival and Cannes Lions. She received several Best Cinematography awards for her film The Day That (2017). Lidia’s commercial work has been featured on Vimeo, i-D, Vogue and Nowness.
She is a recipient of a prestigious American Film Institute Scholarship. Lidia holds a BA in Film Theory from The University of Sydney (AUS) and MFA in Cinematography from AFI (USA).
Lidia is a member of ICFC, Cinematographers XX, Free The Work and WIM.
