Mark A. Baker is an American Studies and American Literature teacher, author, reenactor and actor based in Franklin, Tennessee. He was born in a small Canadian town and his family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona when he was four years old. Baker holds a Master's degree in American Studies from Utah State University. In the fall of 1986, he began writing a column, A Pilgrim's Journey, for Muzzleloader magazine. He is the author of Sons of a Trackless Forest. He has appeared in The Long Hunter Series, The Last of the Mohicans and Boone and Crockett - The Hunter Heroes.
