Mika Kaurismäki is a Finnish director and screenwriter. He is the elder brother of Aki Kaurismäki, and the father of actresses Maria and Anna-Maija Kaurismäki .
Mika Kaurismäki lived in Brazil from approximately 1992 to late 2019, but has since left he country because he disagrees with President Bolsonaro's politics.
