Nezar Alkujok Trailers
Nezar Alkujok, also known as Nezar Kujuk (born in 1999 in Riffa, Bahrain) is a multidisciplinary, Bahraini-Canadian artist and designer whose work primarily explores archival impermanence in its capacity to retrieve and manipulate histories. His current video series (i.e. ‘The Land That Lives Within Us’ and ‘State of Serene’) examines the archive as an allegory, collecting and documenting materials to illustrate the complexities behind the Palestinian condition and the sensations of dispossession and migration. Nezar is currently in the process of completing his graduate studies in architecture in Toronto, Ontario. His short film debut, ‘State of Serene’ is an official selection of the Toronto Palestine Film Festival (2022) Homegrown Shorts Series.
