Orlando is a Puerto Rican director, writer and editor based in Brooklyn. In 2011, he was a co-recipient of the Raul Julia Scholarship by the Puerto Rico Film Commission to study an MFA in Screenwriting and Directing at Columbia University. His shorts have been awarded in Croatia, England, Israel and Spain. Among these, The Least Worst Man was acquired and distributed by HBO in 2018. His most recent short film, The Department of All Things Lost & Found, premiered at the New York Short Film Festival in 2022. He is currently developing his first feature film as writer/director, Un lugar de agua, which was workshopped in the prestigious CineQuaNon screenwriting lab in Mexico.
