Nguyễn Phú Quang (13 October 1949 – 8 December 2021) was a Vietnamese musician, songwriter, composer and conductor. Classically trained in French horn, he later became a pioneer in the local light pop and soul music scene, and was widely renowned for the lyrics of his songs which primarily takes inspiration from poetry and deals with the topic of life in Hanoi. He also wrote symphonies, concertos, musicals and film scores.
