Rebecca Sonnenshine is a graduate of UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. In addition to attending the Berlinale Talent Campus, the Film Independent Director's Director was awarded a Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. She produced the feature films Reversion (2008), which had its Sundance Film Festival premiere, and Bunny (2000), which was nominated for a Spirit Award. Her credits as a screenwriter include Within, American Zombie, The Haunting of Molly Hartley, and Happily Even After. She also wrote on The Vampire Diaries.
