Ruth Pelupessy was an Indonesian actress, model, and businesswoman, who was crowned as the antagonist queen of Indonesia film after Suzzanna and Mieke Wijaya.
She was born on 27 April 1938 in Bangka Island, Dutch East Indies, as the oldest daughter from the four children to Christina Moniyung and Jacob Pelupessy. Her sisters were Joice Wangi Pelupessy, Joyce Pelupessy, and Hanny Pelupessy. All of them was worked as a model and actress, and became the most popular stars on 1950s in Bandung.
