Ryûtarô Gan was born on August 9, 1964 in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. He was the eldest son of Shintarô Katsu. He was an actor, known for Toyotomi Hideyoshi tenka wo toru! (1995), Zatoichi (1989) and Musashi (2003). He died on November 1, 2019 in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.
