Sabine Hoffman, ACE, began her journey as a film editor in Berlin, studying philosophy, art, and film history. In the US, she has edited award-winning feature films for over 20 years. Her credits include PERSONAL VELOCITY, THE BALLAD OF JACK AND ROSE, THE PRIVATE LIVES OF PIPPA LEE, MAGGIE’S PLAN, SHE CAME TO ME, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, THE GLORIAS, PASSING, A THOUSAND AND ONE and CASSANDRO. She most recently edited EZRA for Tony Goldwyn and is currently working with K’naan on MOTHER MOTHER. Sabine has also edited several documentary films, including Academy Award®-nominated FERRY TALES, THE TWELVE DISCIPLES OF NELSON MANDELA, TERROR CONTAGION, and is a co-producer for the Emmy-nominated CODED BIAS. Sabine serves as a consultant and mentor to filmmaking organizations such as the Gotham, Firelight Media, Reel Works, and the Sundance Institute and is a member of AMPAS.
