Saiful Bahri (born in Payakumbuh, West Sumatra in September 19th, 1924) was an Indonesian conductor and songwriter. He led the Jakarta Studio Orchestra from 1950-1960 and wrote the original lyrics and music for "Negaraku", Malaysia's national anthem. Whilst managing his orchestra, Saiful also made music for films. Films that used his composition e.g. Tiga Dara (1956), Djendral Kantjil (1958), and Wulan Di Sarang Penyamun (1976). Saiful Bahri passed away in December 5th, 1975.
