Scott J Ramsey Trailers

Queen Trailer

Welcome to Scott J. Ramsey’s phantasmagoria: a graphic and visceral mix of the gothic and the whimsical. Born in 1992 in the San Francisco Bay Area to an encouraging family, Scott grew up a social outcast, finding refuge in his construction paper bound novels and homemade camcorder films. He came into his own at San Francisco State University, joining a gender inclusive Cinema fraternity within which he began many of his lasting creative partnerships - and attempted (and failed) to make a feature film at age 19.
After graduating, Scott shot his first feature “X” (2019), written with longtime collaborator Hannah Jost, and distributed in North America by Cinedigm. The scoring process rekindled Scott’s passion for music, inspiring his first album, the electronic gothpop cabaret “At the Devil’s Ball” (2021), created in partnership with composer Kevin De Nicolo. The album spawned three expressionist music videos, which alongside the film, formed an immersive multimedia storytelling experience.
Scott currently lives in Los Angeles, writing two films with Jost (one of which will be his second feature), freelancing, and drawing his second album in midi in GarageBand.
In the meantime... follow me, down the trapdoor, odyssey, into the sideshow speakeasy…
