Shaina Ghuraya is a graduate of the University of Southern California's Master of Fine Arts program in Film and Television production, having recently graduated in 2020. She grew up in the suburb of Elk Grove in California, and began her journey as a political science major in order to become an activist for people with disabilities, as she herself has a disability. At USC, Shaina has continued her undergraduate work of bringing issues that minorities face to light through her love of editing and directing culturally inclusive and pertinent stories.
