Siyou is a Los Angeles based filmmaker originally from Singapore. Her short film HELLO AHMA, completed through the 2018-19 AFI Directing Workshop for Women, premiered in competition at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival. Her previous short 2200 VOLTS was featured in and premiered at the 2018 Singapore International Film Festival. Most recently, she has been selected as a fellow at the Busan International Film Festival’s 2019 Asian Film Academy and the 2019-20 Universal Directors Initiative.
