Steven Lovy is a film director and editor known for his work in the science fiction genre. He directed Circuitry Man (1990), a cyberpunk film set in a dystopian future where humans live underground due to pollution. The film follows a bodyguard and a pleasure android smuggling narcotic chips while being pursued by a criminal named Plughead. Lovy also directed its sequel, Plughead Rewired: Circuitry Man II (1994), continuing the story of the original characters.
