Susan Hannah Hadary has been honored with an Academy Award, national Emmy nominations, regional Emmy awards, the Peabody Award, and numerous international awards. Her documentaries on Advocacy for Mainstreaming include King Gimp, Bong and Donnell, Beginning with Bong, Rachael - Being Five, Rachael - In Middle School, Shakissha and Friends, and Sarah's Graduation. Other Hadary award-winning documentaries are Love, Josh; Grace; Marge and Walter; and Departing Rosewood. Her national releases include several series for Discovery Health and Discovery Life featuring the Shock Trauma Center and University of Maryland School of Medicine students in a series entitled MedSchool. She has had three documentaries released on HBO and several programs released, with more forthcoming, on Maryland Public Television (MPT).
