Tolomush Okeev was born on September 11, 1935 in Bokonbayevskoye, Kirghiz SSR, USSR [now Kyzyl-Tuu, Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan]. He was a director and writer, known for Potomok belogo barsa (1985), Krasnoe yabloko (1975) and The Fierce One (1974). He died on December 18, 2001 in Ankara, Turkey.
