Yves Lafontaine is a journalist, magazine editor and filmmaker. He studied at the Collège de Montréal (1977-82) and the Collège André-Grasset (1982-84), and completed university studies at HEC Montréal (1984-87) and the University of Montreal in cinematographic studies (1987-92). Although he is the author of a few award-winning short films, he is best known as the editor-in-chief of Fugues magazine, which he transformed upon his arrival in 1994 and which he still directs today.
