Fıstık and Mıstık are two individuals who are unable to find steady employment and engage in various temporary jobs. Fıstık is engaged to Mıstık's sister, Gönül. Gönül is tired of looking after these two vagabonds and wants to get married as soon as possible. Fıstık will obtain the money he needs to get married from Piliçyan, a Jewish woman. To this end, Mıstık introduces himself as Mıstıkyan, marries Piliçyan, takes her dowry, and runs away with Fıstık. However, their plans will not go as expected.
