Feng Qi (Lin Shen) met Chen Yan (Zhu Liying), who was 8 years older than him, on a train. Feng Qi fell in love with her at first sight, but Chen Yan, who was divorced and had a daughter, did not comment. Later, Feng Qi was admitted to the military academy and took the initiative to propose to establish a romantic relationship with Chen Yan, but was repeatedly rejected by Chen. Feng Qi, on the other hand, launched a love offensive without hesitation. He wanted Chen Yan to regain her confidence in love. Unable to withstand Feng Qi's many passionate confessions, Chen Yan finally agreed to Feng Qi's pursuit and even pinned her daughter's future on this man who was younger than herself.
