In this Notting Hill remake, Madhuja Sen, an Indian Bengali actress, comes to shoot her film in Shillong and falls in love with a local bookshop owner, Arpan. However, things take a turn when there is a terrorist attack in the city and Arpan sells his bookshop in order to pay for her INR 2 million ransom.
