Berlin is currently experiencing the largest growth in tourism in the world - not a reason for everyone to rejoice. Gentrification phobias, hostility towards tourists, existential fears - the documentary attempts to capture the prevailing social mood and gives a voice to friends and foes of tourism. But the tourists themselves are also the focus of the film: in six episodes, the film accompanies Taiwanese women, Mexicans and a Dutchman, among others, through the metropolis on the Spree.
