Jews fled to Australia, bringing with them suitcases, hope, and Yiddish: the language and culture. This story considers this generation of ageing survivors – traditionalists of their mother tongue, as they are confronted with a new, resurgent generation, who are determined to keep Yiddish alive in this modern time.
