After Haryani's father remarries another woman, Haryani (Siti Khadijah Halim) frequently rebels by blaming her mother, Maimun (Sharifah Shahora) for allowing this to happen and for her father leaving them. Haryani is unaware that she has been influenced by the words of her grandmother, Nek Yah (Azizah Mahzan) who still harbors resentment and views Maimun's decision to marry Hazwan as a mistake. Haryani's troublesome and excessive behavior causes Maimun to want to send her daughter to continue her studies at an Islamic college in Kuala Lumpur with the intention of guiding Haryani in a better direction. Haryani is outraged, viewing her mother's decision as an attempt to drive her out of the house. However, Nek Yah changes Haryani's mind when she tells her about a wealthy man named Azlan who also lives in Kuala Lumpur. Azlan (Niezam Zaidi) and Nadira (Zara Zya) are engaged and only waiting for the moment to be married.
