Dear Long Beach: Diary Films Commissioned by Long Beach Community Media Arts, brings together five diverse emerging filmmakers to create a series of personal Super 8 diary/essay films focused on the city of Long Beach, CA. Through the intimate lens of Super 8 film (a small gauge film format created for amateur filmmakers) each film will offer a unique perspective on life in the city, exploring themes of identity, community, culture, and individual experiences.
