"The original was standard 8mm material that I'd shot in a village in Italy. The material had gone through a process of deterioration.

Filmed at the start of Greenham Common. Women sit in the dark round the fire, occasionally someone throws more wood on the fire and we see them talking about the peace movement, the action taken by women, the Pentagon action and the importance of creating an international network.

A last look at the London Filmmakers' Co-op when it was housed in an old Victorian dairy. 'In the dark room, single imagess [sic] succeed eachothers [sic] in a continous [sic] motion towards the dairy, where she and the other english filmmakers stayed in an area of demolishing.

A derelict piano in the yard outside the old Film Co-Op. The keys had come loose and floated off. I play it, moving the keys and listening carefully.
