Clayton Orgles first discovered his affinity for storytelling through drawing, inspired by the natural beauty of his hometown of Toodyay in Western Australia. During his adolescence, this passion for visual storytelling organically transitioned into filmmaking, where he delved into the dynamic capabilities of cinema as a narrative tool. Over the span of a decade, Clayton has carved out a niche for himself in the film industry as a visual director. His narrative music videos, amassing millions of collective views online, attest to his ability to create intriguing stories using compelling visuals. In collaboration with artists like Black Tongue and Saviour, Clayton has demonstrated a distinctive storytelling style that serves both the music and the narrative of the projects he has worked on. What sets Clayton's work apart is his talent for crafting compelling visual languages that amplify narrative depth. This was showcased in his 2023 festival debut, 'Dissociation,' an H.P. Lovecraft adaptation that earned selections at Screamfest, H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival, and Revelation Perth International Film Festival. These accolades evidence Clayton's ability to heighten emotional and psychological elements in storytelling, as demonstrated by the film's atmosphere of dread and existential unease. Looking to the future, Clayton is channelling this talent and philosophy into his next creative frontier: directing feature-length films in the Horror genre.
