Robert Bierman is an English film and television director. He is best known for the 1988 cult film Vampire's Kiss starring Nicolas Cage and MarĂa Conchita Alonso. Bierman was originally the scheduled director of The Fly (1986), but due to personal tragedy was unable to commit to the project. In television, he has directed episodes of Waking the Dead, Holby City, The Bill, and The Inspector Lynley Mysteries. He has three children from his first marriage and three more children from his second marriage to Saskia Wickham.
