Roberto Bonilla is an outstanding director and screenwriter who, under the Cinema Law 19327, made short documentaries, animation and fiction films with Industria Andina de Cine and other companies for 9 years, filmed in 16mm and 35mm. His cinematographic work depicts what it was like to make films in Peru between the eighties and nineties, and constitutes a significant contribution to the audiovisual heritage and the history of Peruvian cinema; becoming pieces of memory of history, culture and idiosyncrasy of Peruvian society.
